Theme Installation
- Through the WP dashboard (easy): Appearance -> Themes -> Add New -> Upload Theme -> Browse and select the .zip for your theme -> Install Now. After that you can activate the theme.
- Using a FTP client (advanced): Unzip the theme -> Upload the folder to the "wp-content/themes" directory of your WordPress installation. After that you can activate the theme.
Header Image
- The header image can be changed by simply replacing the header.jpg with your own in the "images" folder.
Menu Management
- To create a custom menu for your header navigation: WP dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus -> create a new menu -> Add your menu items -> Check 'Primary Menu' in the Theme Locations -> Save Menu.
Site Title
- To add your site title in the header: Open header.php in WP dashboard -> Appearance -> Editor or in your favourite editor -> Search <div class="title"> -> Edit the name.
Sidebar Widgets
- To add widgets to your sidebar: WP dashboard -> Appearance -> Widget -> Add your widgets to the 'Sidebar Widgets' panel.
Footer Information
- To add your site information in the footer: Open footer.php in WP dashboard -> Appearance -> Editor or in your favourite editor -> Search <div class="credit"> -> Edit the infos.
